Accessibility Statement
Introduction
MindDoc Health GmbH is committed to making its website and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1 Level AA).
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://minddoc.com.
General Description of the Service
This statement covers minddoc.com, including the mental health magazine, landing pages for our services and mobile applications, and other informational pages.
For the best experience, we recommend the latest versions of standard web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and standard assistive technologies (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
Accessibility Enhancements on https://minddoc.com/magazin
On our magazine section (https://minddoc.com/magazin), we have integrated the OneTap Accessibility toolbar, which provides users with on-demand adjustments including:
- Accessibility profiles for vision impairment, ADHD, epilepsy/seizure safety, and reading focus
- Contrast and color modes: dark, light, high contrast, monochrome, and saturation controls
- Text and reading adjustments: font size, line height, letter spacing, font weight, dyslexic font, readable font, and text alignment
- Reading aids: reading line, reading mask, text magnifier, and big cursor
- Motion and media controls: stop animations, hide images, mute sounds
- Visibility helpers: highlight links, titles, and content
- Quick launch via keyboard shortcut: Alt + . (Windows) or ⌘ + . (Mac)
The toolbar is currently only available in the magazine section. While it significantly improves the experience for many users, it cannot replace source-level accessibility — in particular, it cannot generate content that is missing from the underlying HTML (such as alternative text for images or captions for videos). We continue to work on remediating the source.
Compliance Status
Compliance has been verified through a self-assessment supported by automated accessibility analysis tools (WAVE by WebAIM) in February 2026. The website https://minddoc.com is partially compliant with the BFSG due to the exceptions listed below.
Non-accessible Content
On https://minddoc.com/ (main website)
- Insufficient color contrasts between text/UI elements and background on various pages.
- Missing alternative text for some images and icons (e.g., Privacy Policy, GTC, Medical Product, Login).
- Non-descriptive links and buttons in some areas, including the Login section.
- Missing or unsuitable page titles on pages such as Imprint, Privacy Policy, GTC, and Medical Product.
- Heading structure issues, including missing H1 tags and skipped heading levels.
- Login area: missing form labels and missing or invalid page language attributes.
- Very small text in some areas.
- PDF documents: some linked PDFs may not yet be fully accessible.
On https://minddoc.com/magazin (magazine section)
The OneTap toolbar mitigates a wide range of issues for users at the presentation layer — including contrast, font sizing, line height, dyslexic-friendly font, motion reduction, and reading aids. The following issues exist in the underlying HTML and are therefore not resolved by the toolbar, particularly for screen reader users:
- Empty or non-descriptive links in some articles and category pages.
- Missing or redundant alternative text on some images.
- Heading structure issues, including missing first-level headings and skipped levels.
- Embedded audio/video content may not include captions or transcripts.
MindDoc Health GmbH is working to resolve these issues across the entire website as quickly as possible.
